Feel the Energy: Power Places and their Effect

Power places

Do you like to be outside in nature? Do you perhaps have a favorite outdoor place with which you feel particularly connected? What do you feel when you are there? Sometimes it is not so easy to explain. Nevertheless, you feel that this place in nature is good for you and that this is exactly where you can recharge your physical and mental reserves. If you feel like this and feel a strange kind of energy, then you have probably found a place of power. We'll tell you more about power places and their effects.

Power places

Lake Thiersee is a power place with a strong effect on our bioenergies.

Whether scientifically proven or just a feeling: the universe, our planet, our nature and also we are flowed through by energies. What exactly is the origin of this, we do not know. But we believe that these energies are the driving force behind all cosmic developments. Probably since the beginning of time. Many of us perceive these energies consciously and unconsciously. This already begins in human interaction: We harmonise wonderfully with some people, while others feel like real "energy suckers".

Power places are places where we believe that their energies vibrate at a higher level than the rest of the environment. These are often clearings in forests, rivers, lakes or elevations in nature. However, this phenomenon cannot really be explained. We only feel - often for millennia and centuries: This place is really good for me.

Places of worship and energy filling stations

Many of these power places became places of worship and central locations of spiritual and religious rites precisely for the above reasons. Stonehenge in England, the pyramids of Giza or the temple complexes of Angkor Wat are examples of this - here near the European Ayurveda Resort Sonnhof it is Lake Thiersee.

In Europe, churches or chapels were often built on once pagan places of worship in the course of Christianisation in the early Middle Ages. For despite the religious change, the high energy frequency at these localities was and is still perceptible to the population. In other words, the faith may have changed, but not the meaning of nature around you.

Of course, you can also find such power spots in Tyrol. The region around Lake Thiersee is also one of them. It is probably the combination of lake, mountains and forests that has an effect on energetic perception. The higher energy frequency causes us to become calmer and more relaxed. The EA Resort Sonnhof takes advantage of this phenomenon. Because in addition to the cures and Ayurvedic treatments, this kind of energy work helps you to reconnect with yourself. You feel how your bioenergies resonate with the environment and thus strengthen your inner balance.

You are part of nature

But why do many people react so sensitively to power places? Our explanation for this is that humans have always been part of nature. Our ancestors were much more aware of this than we are today in this digitalised and partly very pragmatic world. Our life, our biorhythm, all that is connected in whatever form with the natural cycles and energies. However, through the development of our Western-European civilisation, we have gradually lost touch with this.

Yoga in a place of power strengthens the connection to our self.

For a long time, the belief prevailed that medical, technical and social advances could overcome the force and power of nature - so we disconnected ourselves from old nature-given mechanisms.

Although we have lost conscious or mental access to this source of power, our body and subconscious still perceive these natural energies. This is shown, for example, in the fact that we come to rest at places of power, that a time of day provides us with another energy boost or that we feel particularly vital in a season. European Ayurveda can be a way to reconnect. We know it's a gift that we can live in a modern society with many conveniences. But it would be nice for our bodies and minds to become aware of our place in nature again. Through yoga, meditation and the alignment of a positive mindset, we gradually open up to our inner self.

Why don't you try it out? Go for a walk. Maybe you already have a place in mind where you feel comfortable. If possible, go barefoot to better feel the ground under the soles of your feet. Close your eyes. Breathe in and out deeply. Imagine how the energies flow through your body at this point. You become one with this energy flow. In your mind's eye you can imagine how your force field, radiating from your feet, connects with the surroundings. Do you notice how you absorb the peace of your surroundings? Do a meditation or yoga exercise if you feel like it. The power place is your place of inner healing and your energy filling station, where you can gather new strength at any time. You feel really good!
