At the Sonnhof, European Ayurveda® is not just an offer. The philosophy is lived and is reflected in all facets. Also in the way the company is managed. For managing director Elisabeth Mauracher, the holistic approach of Ayurveda is a guide. To make the right decisions, to master crises, to tackle challenges and to lead employees.
All this together makes the European Ayurveda Resort Sonnhof a place of strength. A place where you can arrive, recharge your batteries and embark on a healthier and more positive life. The philosophy of Ayurveda is therefore not only a valuable guide in life for you personally, but can also help you enormously to lead your business to success.
Corporate management with intuition and understanding
Three women were originally behind the idea of introducing European Ayurveda® to the mountains in Tyrol: Brigitte Mauracher and her two daughters. They were met with a lot of scepticism. It was the combination of conviction, passion and strong will that turned this idea into reality.
In the podcast "Leadership is a Lifestyle" by Regina Volz Elisabeth Mauracher talks about how you can lead your company with intuition and understanding. The exciting conversation is about women in leadership positions in general and also specifically about the history of the development of European Ayurveda® at Sonnhof. Elisabeth Mauracher gives personal insights into her way of managing a company, which focuses on consciousness, resonance and self-reflection.
"It pays to take courageous steps," says the young managing director, recalling the difficulties Sonnhof had to face before European Ayurveda® was chosen as a new path. By the way, Elisabeth Mauracher talks about the establishment of European Ayurveda® as a brand and concept at Sonnhof in the podcast with Marina Jagemann.
With the help of Ayurveda to successful business management
At Interview with Christian Bischoff Elisabeth Mauracher talks about how important it is to have the courage to change. To dare to take the step and break out of your comfort zone in order to come closer to your own vocation. It is also about letting certain events take their course, also accepting unpleasant circumstances, e.g. fears. Corona was also a challenge for Sonnhof, so it was all the more important to consciously address the fear and worries and also to look at them, but not to give them the upper hand.
"A business is only as far as you are," says Elisabeth Mauracher. For this reason, the managing director is always working on herself. If you are not doing well as a company leader, if you do not radiate clarity and are not in your centre, you cannot be a support for your employees. It is important to remain the leader in your own life. It is also helpful to accept strengths and weaknesses, to know that mistakes are part of life. Otherwise the soul will not reach its greatness. And the soul wants to grow, just like a company. And growth is not possible without mistakes and also without crises. The difference in quality is the awareness and acceptance with which you approach them.
Only when you are a leader in your life can you lead a company.
It is important to follow the inner call, to be one with yourself and to be clear about what you want as an individual. It sounds simple, but it is like a law: if you yourself are happy with what you do, you also make others happy. Only when you pursue things that give you strength do you find your energy and can develop your potential.
This law is also important for Elisabeth Mauracher in the management of her staff. She makes sure that they remain in their power at the Sonnhof and can work where they themselves flourish. It is therefore also important to let intuition have its say again. The three doshas, Vata, Kapha and Pitta, are also good parameters for using the staff correctly so that they are in their element during their work.
