The Ayurvedic diet is individually adapted to your constitution, i.e. the composition of the doshas and your general state of health. You enjoy dishes that nourish your body and keep it healthy, while also tasting good and indulging your senses.

Serve this sweet treat with fresh, seasonal berries.

Recipe peanut date tart

Quantity for one tart. It will keep in the fridge for several days and can be eaten piece by piece.

Ingredients

Floor

375 g cashew nuts

225 g dates

3 tbsp coconut oil

Filling

700 g peanut butter

450 g dates

120 g coconut oil

Glaze

270 g chocolate

3 tbsp coconut oil

Optional: seasonal berries

Preparation

For the base, gently heat the cashew nuts with the dates and coconut oil and puree in a blender. Pour the mixture into a cake tin and leave to cool.

For the filling, briefly heat the dates in boiling water and puree with the coconut oil, dates and peanut butter in a blender. Pour onto the cooled base mixture and leave to cool again

For the icing, melt the chocolate and mix with the coconut oil. Pour onto the cake and leave to cool. Cut when cold, decorate with seasonal berries and enjoy!
